Professional Development Assistance Guidelines

What is STAR NET Professional Development Assistance?

Professional Development Assistance is used to reimburse Early Childhood Special Education professionals for the expense of attending workshops, seminars or conferences.
Professionals can be reimbursed up to $75.00 per year.
Preference is given to in-state events.

You can apply for Professional Development Assistance if:

You are a professional in the field of Early Childhood Special Education working with children 3-5 years old, and
You work in North or West Suburban Cook County, Du Page County, McHenry County, Kane County, or Lake County, and
Your employer can not cover the costs associated with attending workshops, seminars or conferences
